About me!

I am passionate about being active and helping other people to be active and achieve their goals. Rain or shine, home or away, I will be out exploring: running, swimming, paddle-boarding, cycling, walking, climbing… And I will often be encouraging my family and friends to join me!

I find the human body fascinating; how different tissues and different parts of the body interact with each other to help the body function as efficiently as possible.

I have a degree in Biology: Physiology and Pharmacology. After finishing university, I qualified as a secondary school science teacher, also completing a Masters degree in Special Educational Needs. I was commited to helping others and sharing my knowledge and was recognised by the Local Authority as an Outstanding Teacher. After taking a break to have my children, I decided to retrain in sports massage as I was ready for a new challenge and wanted to use my knowledge to help people in a different way.

I have Level 3 and 4 Sports Massage Therapy qualifications. I have have certificates in using Myofascial Cupping and Trigger Points.

I am currently training to be an Emmett Therapy practitioner which is a really exciting, relatively new approach to addressing muscle restrictions.
